Lions Club: 22nd Annual Kite Flight & Community Health Fair held 10:00 am - 3:00 pm at Cedar Middle School lawn (2215 W Royal Hunte Dr, Cedar City), admission is FREE. Iron County students from Pre-school to 6th grade will redeem their 3 months of reading for a free Kite, Book, or Movie Pass. Students and their families will enjoy the booths of our sponsors, check out the Health Fair activities, and have fun flying their kites. Good food and drinks on sale by the Parowan Lions Club. Prize Redemption 10 am to 3 pm. *While supplies last. Each student must turn in their own chart to select a prize and be included in the school competition. Summary from Concord Theatricals In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named "Rocky." That "Sweet Transvestite" and his motley crew did the "Time Warp" on Broadway in a 25th anniversary revival. Complete with sass from the audience, cascading toilet paper, and an array of other audience participation props, this deliberately kitschy rock n' roll sci-fi gothic musical is more fun than ever! Come enjoy its wonderful surroundings at our outdoor market in our beautiful red rock canyon featuring local artwork, crafts, food and free entertainment. You’ll find something new and different every Saturday morning at The Tuacahn Saturday Market. The market is every Saturday, year round (weather permitting). Admission and live entertainment is free. Patrons stroll along a tree-lined walkway next to a beautiful running water feature while browsing displays created by local painters, artists, crafters and more.
