Being creative has always been a part of my life. Different mediums, subjects, places, people
and events continually shape me as an artist and give me inspiration. Artistic influences in
my life are always present in my mind when painting. The advice and lessons I have
gathered stay with me as part of my journey as an artist. Living in Southern Utah provides
me a lifetime of subjects which satisfies my painting desires. My goal is to communicate
with the viewer the joy I see around me. Listening to each painting to understand what
should or should not be included is a lifelong lesson. Painting also healing process for
me. It gives me the opportunity to release the days weariness and replace it with a renewal
of life. I look forward to this period of transformation every time I pick up a brush.
