An Expanding Legacy

Now in its 23rd year, the Choir continues to expand its celebrated history. From its beginnings in the St. George Tabernacle, the Choir now rehearses and performs at Dixie State University. It continues to maintain a rigorous performance schedule, presenting annual spring, fall, patriotic, and Christmas concerts, plus many community events.

In addition to its regular performance schedule, the Choir has toured extensively, performing in the United States, Europe, the British Isles, Mexico, and Asia. They recently returned from a wonderful Central European tour, which included concerts in Poland, Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.

Members of the Choir are volunteers who pay their own expenses (including travel), giving freely of their time for rehearsals and performances while serving on the various committees for choir management. The Choir performs a comprehensive repertoire of delightful and spiritual music to accomplish its mission—that of “bringing people to Christ through music.”

For more than two decades, the Southern Utah Heritage Choir has provided wholesome and uplifting music and inspiring programs to the people of Southern Utah and at locations around the world.

This 180 voice all volunteer community choir, with men and women from all faiths, has performed in hundreds of local concerts as well as national and international concerts. Programs have included inspired vocal, instrumental and spoken word performers – all to the delight of the audiences.

Providing a rich blend of mature and youthful voices, the choir continues to provide a standard of musical excellence for local, regional and international audiences.
