My name is John Mangels and I am an abstract expressionist painter. I use a number of mediums to create my paintings including watercolor, acrylics or oil. The theme for my work is “Abstract Reality and Beyond”. My paintings can be characterized by the use of bold colors, high contrast and expressive brush strokes. My paintings express the feeling and emotion that I had when they were created.
