Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day – USS Utah Ceremony
Presented by Washington City at Heritage Hall Washington, UT
Washington City invites the community to its annual USS Utah Ceremony – Honoring the Legacy on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Heritage Hall (25 E Telegraph St., Washington, UT). This Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day event honors the USS Utah (BB-31/AG-16) battleship and the 58 sailors who lost their lives during the attack on December 7, 1941. It also celebrates the enduring legacy carried forward by the new USS Utah (SSN-801), a Virginia-class fast-attack submarine, and the men and women who serve our nation today. The program will include historical reflection, music, and a special tribute to the crew of the USS Utah. An Open House with light refreshments will follow, providing an opportunity for attendees to connect, reflect, and share in remembering the legacy of the USS Utah and all who serve. This event is free and open to the public. Elf The Musical is the hilarious and heartwarming tale of Buddy, a young orphan whose life is changed forever when he mistakenly crawls into Santa’s sack of toys one Christmas Eve. Raised by elves at the North Pole, Buddy’s enormous size and limited toy-making abilities make him realize he may not quite fit in! When he discovers he is actually human, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, and in turn, helps the Big Apple and the people he meets rediscover the true meaning of Christmas.
