About The Presenter: Ken Howell
Ken Howell, along with his father Jack and brother Breck, lived at Silver Reef (population 3) during the decade of the 1960s, long before its residential development.
Following a church mission and education at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and court reporting school in Denver, Ken enjoyed a 40-year career as a circuit court reporter for the South Dakota Unified Judicial System, based in Sturgis, South Dakota. Upon retiring in 2013, they left the beautiful Black Hills and moved to northern Utah to be closer to their family. Ken and his wife Celia are the proud parents of six children, fourteen grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
