[more+]The Southern Utah Heritage Choir proudly announces the upcoming performance of Lex De Azevedo’s captivating oratorio, “Hosanna.” This extraordinary musical experience will unfold in two distinguished venues – the historic St. George Tabernacle and the Heritage Center in Cedar City.
“Hosanna” is an exquisite oratorio that chronicles the poignant narrative of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This musical masterpiece, designed for soloists, choir, and orchestra, comprises four evocative movements – “The Triumphal Entry,” “The Last Supper,” “The Crucifixion,” and “The Resurrection.” Sung in the language of the King James Bible, the lyrics add a timeless and reverential dimension to the performance. “Hosanna” promises to stir and inspire, offering a classic work of art.
Distinguished Performers: The production features Lex De Azevedo, the Southern Utah Heritage Choir, with stellar performances by accomplished violinist Cari Sue Jackson and acclaimed vocalists Rachel Cox, Greg Knell, Peter Goertzen, and Dane Camp.

[more+]The Southern Utah Heritage Choir proudly announces the upcoming performance of Lex De Azevedo’s captivating oratorio, “Hosanna.” This extraordinary musical experience will unfold in two distinguished venues – the historic St. George Tabernacle and the Heritage Center in Cedar City.
“Hosanna” is an exquisite oratorio that chronicles the poignant narrative of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This musical masterpiece, designed for soloists, choir, and orchestra, comprises four evocative movements – “The Triumphal Entry,” “The Last Supper,” “The Crucifixion,” and “The Resurrection.” Sung in the language of the King James Bible, the lyrics add a timeless and reverential dimension to the performance. “Hosanna” promises to stir and inspire, offering a classic work of art.
Distinguished Performers: The production features Lex De Azevedo, the Southern Utah Heritage Choir, with stellar performances by accomplished violinist Cari Sue Jackson and acclaimed vocalists Rachel Cox, Greg Knell, Peter Goertzen, and Dane Camp.
