Every event showcases over 50 vendors from all over Washington and Iron Counties bringing you the best in locally grown produce, pasture raised meats, raw cheeses, and unique artisanal products.

We have live music every Saturday starting at 9:30am in the picturesque downtown park of Vernon Worthen. Enjoy local food and goods while sitting in the shade on our green grass, jamming out to local tunes. This is truly an event for the whole family all in a fur-baby friendly atmosphere.

Every Saturday May through October 8am-noon; November through March 10am-2pm (closed January).

We will learn about the equipment and ingredient used in Christmas pioneer baking.

With memorable songs like “Tomorrow” and a lovable dog named Sandy. “Annie” is a timeless tale of hope, resilience, and the power of optimism in the face of adversity.

You’ll follow Clara on her journey with a magical Nutcracker, a battle against the Mouse King, and a trip to the dazzling Land of Sweets. This Southern Utah tradition is filled with Tchaikovsky’s stunning music, breathtaking dancing, and costumes that will leave you in awe.

The Westside Studio of Performing Arts invites you to Desert Hills High School for five performances, December 19th through the 21st. Showtimes are at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m.

A winter wonderland with thousands of lights and displays. Lights are on nightly until 10 p.m.

Staheli Family Farm spectacular Holiday Light display features thousands of lights illuminating acres of farmland. Feel like a child again as you encounter whimsical displays and familiar characters that come to life with your favorite Christmas music. Drive your own car through Tuesday - Thursday or ride our wagons Monday, Friday and Saturdays. Wagon Rides are weather permitted, by reservation only. Please note that one wagon per half hour is running.

New this year we will have our Gingerbread Junction train running for all to enjoy and it's free with wagon ride or drive though pass.

Celebrate the holidays in enchanting style at Thunder Junction this December! The park will be aglow with dazzling lights and festive spirit, offering a magical experience for all. This year, due to popular demand, we've added two extra evenings for you to enjoy this special event.

The North Pole Express will be held on December 3rd, 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 20th and 21st from 6 pm - 8 pm each night.

Each ticket grants exclusive access to the park, where you can meet Santa Claus, decorate cookies, enjoy hot cocoa, create holiday crafts, and take a delightful ride aboard the North Pole Express.

To ensure an intimate experience, the park will be closed to the general public during these enchanting evenings. Remember, all guests must present a North Pole Express ticket for entry into Thunder Junction Park.

To accommodate as many families as possible, there is a limit of 10 tickets per account. Remember to either print your ticket or have it ready on your mobile device for scanning at the entrance gate. Once scanned, you'll receive your special "golden ticket" for admission.

The Heritage Choir Christmas concerts, featuring soprano Tennile Coello as guest soloist and titled “The Night of All Nights,” is a holiday gift to the community from the musical group considered the “musical crown jewel of Southern Utah”. Their beautifully inspirational musical program will be held first on Sunday, December 15 and repeated the following week on Sunday, December 22 at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free and both performances will be held at the newly renovated St. George Tabernacle.

The human form may be the oldest and most prevalent subject in the visual arts. From ancient cave paintings to portraits of royalty, the human form provides a surrogate, or avatar, for the viewer, thereby altering our experience and perception of art, and holding up a mirror to our shared humanity. This exhibition will explore the human form and face in myriad ways in works from the Sears permanent collection, as well as works from top regional artists.

On December 31st, at 10 PM, Washington City will celebrate the New Year with a Fireworks Show. Although the Washington City Community Center will be closed, you can still enjoy the best view in town from its parking lot or the nearby Softball Complex. Come out and join us in celebrating the beginning of a New Year!

This NEW series runs October through January once a month at the Electric Theater Center (68 E Tabernacle St). Seating is based on a first come first serve basis. The Winter Concert Series is FREE to the public. Donations appreciated. Come enjoy this series with your family and friends as we enjoy the winter season!

Anything Goes is a musical about the antics of passengers aboard the S.S. American, an ocean liner sailing from New York to London. features music and lyrics by Cole Porter, and includes some of his most iconic songs, such as "I Get A Kick Out of You" and  "De-Lovely".  The story follows Billy Crocker, a Wall Street stockbroker who stows away on the ship to win the heart of Hope Harcourt, a wealthy heiress who is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh.

Don’t miss Tony nominee, Ann Hampton Callaway, in her new show “Finding Beauty: Inspired Classics and Originals”. Ann’s show is comprised of classics from her songwriting inspirations - Carole King, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Paul Simon, and many more. Get ready for the Second Annual I Love Pets walk/run at Tonaquint Park! This event welcomes all pets, whether they bark, meow, slither, or scuttle! Choose from a 10K, 5K, or a Fun Run Walk N' Roll, and join us in celebrating your affection for animals! If you don't have a pet feel free to dress up as any creature you cherish, or simply come out to show your support for our furry or not so furry friends!

For more than 50 years, the BYU Young Ambassadors have been sharing staggering vocals live onstage and in televised performances around the globe. Since entering the world stage at Japan’s Expo ’70, the Young Ambassadors have performed in major concert halls, orphanages, government palaces, and hospitals in 68 countries. In 2023 the group performed to sold-out crowds at the international Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The 26 student singers, dancers, and stage technicians deliver a fast-paced showcase inspired by American musical theatre, rock, and pop music. The Young Ambassadors is produced by the School of Music in the College of Fine Arts and Communications at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

THE STORY:

When the low-born Monty Navarro finds out that he’s eighth in line for an earldom in the lofty D’Ysquith family, he figures his chances of outliving his predecessors are slight and sets off down a far more ghoulish path. Can he knock off his unsuspecting relatives without being caught and become the ninth Earl of Highhurst? And what of love? Because murder isn’t the only thing on Monty’s mind….

A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder is a murderous romp filled with unforgettable music, non-stop laughs and a scene-stealing role for one actor playing all eight of the doomed heirs who meet their ends in the most creative and side-splitting ways. This is a must-produce for any theatre looking for a truly original and fresh new comedy that will delight audiences and leave them begging for more.

With ten Tony nominations and four wins, including Best Musical, Book, Direction and Costumes, it also earned seven Drama Desk Awards (including Best Musical), four Outer Critics Circle Awards (including Best Musical) and one Drama League Award (Best Musical) – Gentleman’s Guide was the most celebrated Broadway musical of the 2014 season.
