Greater St. George Hub

Every event showcases over 50 vendors from all over Washington and Iron Counties bringing you the best in locally grown produce, pasture raised meats, raw cheeses, and unique artisanal products.

We have live music every Saturday starting at 9:30am in the picturesque downtown park of Vernon Worthen. Enjoy local food and goods while sitting in the shade on our green grass, jamming out to local tunes. This is truly an event for the whole family all in a fur-baby friendly atmosphere.

Every Saturday May through October 8am-noon; November through March 10am-2pm (closed January).

Artists will display their original artwork, which includes paintings, pastels, colored pencils, photography, and original 3-D media.

The exhibit hours are Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. and Saturdays noon-4 p.m. The gallery is operated by the Southern Utah Art Guild. See website for more information.

Funny Girl tells the story of Fanny Brice, a young, talented performer with dreams of making it big in show business. Set in the early 20th century, the musical follows Fanny’s journey from a Brooklyn music hall singer to Broadway stardom. Along the way, she experiences love, heartbreak, and the challenges of being a woman in the entertainment industry. Filled with iconic songs and a blend of humor and drama, “Funny Girl” showcases the indomitable spirit of its lead character.

Be transported back in time and come in your vintage dress (not required, but highly encouraged) as you dance the night away to the 1940's music of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey and more. Live music will be provided by the Saint George Jazz Band.

Looking for something to do with your Friday nights? St. George Town Square becomes and outdoor movie theatre on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. Classic movies for adults and children will be shown on the big screen under the stars. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and goodies to enjoy the evening and movie as it begins at dusk.

Due West is an American country music group composed of Matt Lopez, Tim Gates, and Brad Hull. The trio is blessed with a tight, three-way harmony vocal blend, the kind usually reserved for siblings. These talented singer/songwriters will steal your hearts with their meaningful lyrics and melodies as demonstrated in their hits like, "When The Smoke Clears" and "I Get That All The Time", as well as the songs featured on their brand new album, "UNBROKEN" available February 22, 2024.

Join us Saturday, June 1st from 6-8 pm for the opening Reception of our Summer Exhibition. This exhibition will feature the artwork of two talented Hispanic artists, Zaida Machado and Brandon Jauregui. Las Vegas Latin/flamenco guitarist Ricardo Griego will be performing for us throughout the evening. Also featuring the traveling exhibit by SAQA: Sustainability. Light refreshments will be served. Comedy Church is hosted by Greg Kyte and Adam Broud. Both of them used to be insanely religious people but are now faithless and destined to burn in hell. In the long term, it’s kind of a bummer. But in the short term, it makes for a pretty good comedy show.

Each Comedy Church show features new comedians as well as religious topics. Comedy Church takes an agnostic stance towards faith. Although Adam and Greg are atheists, they’re not the a-hole type. For instance, interviews focus on comedically learning about guests’ experiences rather than trying to find “gotcha” moments regarding religion. To emphasize this, past guests have included people of diverse backgrounds and members of various faiths.

Instruction will focus on the forces of flight (Thrust, Weight, Drag, lift) and the main parts of the plane. There will be fun activities for each of the forces. The classes will be held aboard the museum's C-54 Skymaster cargo plane which is famous for having served in the Berlin Airlift of 1948-1949, It is also the same model that Gal Halvorsen know as "The Candy Bomber" used to fly over Saint George dropping candy to the childern waiting below.

The Concert in the Park Series is a celebration of wonderful music, open parks, and family celebration. The Series runs April through September at Vernon Worthen Park. Park seating is available. Families are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and food. The concert series is FREE to the public. Don't miss the second Monday of each month through September. Skip the classroom and step into a night of American history-telling, live music and multimedia!  History That Doesn’t Suck with Professor Greg Jackson is the first 100 years of US history told in a thrilling 100 minutes. The promise is in the title!

Dr. Jackson knows you think history is soooo boorrrinnng. Armed with a PhD and a sense of humor that made his podcast of the same name rocket in popularity, this multimedia story-telling event will have you wishing this was the way history was taught in school.

Taking place at the Dolores Dore’ Eccles Fine Arts Center - Eccles Theater at Utah Tech University.  Two productions: July 2, 2:00 pm matinee and at 7:30 pm evening performance.

City of St. George 2024 4th of July Celebration
July 3-6, 2024

Bring the whole family for this fun-filled extravaganza! This year, the entire Celebration will take place at Town Square meaning the whole party is in one place! There will be live music, a talent show competition, food booths, a carnival, contests, inflatables, a parade, a 4k race, tons of games, and countless memories! Be sure to come out to Town Square and join this Independence Day for a Celebration like no other!  Events start with the 4k at 6:30 am so there will be something for everyone in the whole family to enjoy!

Start your 4th of July Celebration with the Uncle Sam 4k! This fun 4k will take runners through the streets of Historic Downtown St. George, starting and ending in the Town Square Parking Lot. Then stick around for the rest of the day for the City of St. George 4th of July Celebration!
